A SECLUDED HOLIDAY HOME, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING
High amongst the trees and next to the National Park, Samsara is a spacious, fully air conditioned two bedroom, open plan holiday home which is extremely private, yet close to all amenities - The bedrooms are only separated by slatted screens. Please look closely at the bedroom photos in case the lack of sound/privacy is an issue.
The house is not fenced so it merges comfortably into the beauty of the National Park with impressive trees, granite boulders and a seasonal creek. Relax on the deck and watch the Island's wildlife.
In the wet season the creek runs past the house so you have your own private spa with a rock pool just 40 metres upstream.
The rainbow lorikeets and kookaburras visit the deck every day, and koalas inhabit the trees at the rear of the house. As evening approaches the possums, curlews and wallabies emerge.
The lounge/dining area is very spacious with six large double glass sliding doors to admire the scenery.
Alma Bay, one of the islands best swimming beaches, is only a 12 minute walk and it has a shady lawn area, free BBQs and a play park for children. Geoffrey Bay, just around the corner from Alma Bay, has the old barge ramp and a wallaby feeding area, a snorkel trail, and a lovely beach for long walks.

DON'T want to cook? You don't have to!
Magnetic Island has a wide range of great restaurants and eateries. Other than the Friday Night Markets at the RSL Hall which is just down the street, your closest is just a short walk away at the Arcadia Village Hotel, which has dining specials nearly every night of the week, and lots of options from classic pub fare, Thai and Indonesian to a delicious menu at The Bikini Tree Cafe.
There are also restaurants and eateries in Horseshoe Bay, Nelly Bay and Picnic Bay. The only thing you need to remember is that most kitchens on the island close at 8pm.
